Important Class Info

Please read every section!

  • A reminder email will be sent to attendees a few days before class with class materials, instructions, and directions.
  • This is an English only class.  
  • If an interpreter is needed, the student must arrange for and provide their own.  Please indicate on the registration form you will be bringing an interpreter.
  • This is an adult only class.  Children are not allowed in class.  Daycare is not provided.

Develop IDs

  • All C.A.R.S. classes and attendee completion is tracked through Develop.

  • Obtaining a Develop ID is free and simple.  Click here to create a profile.  The only information necessary to obtain an ID is the following:
    • First and Last Name
    • Email Address
    • Address
    • Phone
    • Date of Birth
    • Last 5 Digits of Social Security Number
    • No other information is required (ignore anything else)
  • Submit your Develop ID with your registration for class.
  • After successfully completing the course, you will be able to print your course completion summary from the Develop website.
  • If you do not have a Develop ID, you must provide the email address of your supervisor/case worker/licensor.  A course completion email will be sent directly to them.

Arrival & Check-In

  • Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes early to sign in.   
  • To make sure we get out of class on time, we start promptly at the time indicated on the schedule.
  • If you arrive more than 15-minutes late, you will not be admitted to class.  This is a state guideline and will be considered a no-show.

What to Bring to Class

  • A pen to take copious notes and the quiz!
  • Course material - included in the email sent before class (digital or paper copy - your preference).
  • Feel free to bring a beverage/snack.  There are NO vending machines on site.

No-Shows, Cancelations & Date Change Requests

  • No Show - No refunds for no shows.  If you do not show up for a class, you will have to re-register and pay to attend another class.  
  • Cancelations - A reimbursement will be provided only if you cancel at least 5 business days prior to the day of your scheduled class.
  • Date Change Requests - Will be allowed if requested at least 5 business days prior to the day of your scheduled class.  If less than 5 days prior to your class, you will need to re-register and pay for another seat.
  • Instructor Canceled Classes - If an instructor cancels class due to an emergency or severe weather, you will have the opportunity to choose another class or request a reimbursement.
  • Reimbursements - Are only provided if you withdraw/cancel at least 5 business days prior to the day of your scheduled class.

COVID-19 Considerations

  • We follow all state and CDC guidelines in effect at the time of each class.  
  • If you have recently tested positive for COVID or have been exposed - follow these guidelines to determine if you can attend class. 
  • If you are concerned about your health and risk of contracting the virus (even if vaccinated), please wear a mask.
